Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake development work, promoting the use of land in line with organisational objectives, focusing on achieving commercial returns and providing cost-effective management.
* Manage a range of development projects and provide advice on promotion opportunities, acquisitions, and disposals.
* Assist in appointing consultants for property development proposals, working closely with the procurement team.
* Negotiate commercial terms for new disposals, acquisitions, and other development-related agreements.
* Manage and influence stakeholders, including community groups, to progress projects effectively.
* Report and manage capital expenditure in delivering development projects in accordance with the organisation's objectives.
* Produce information reports and analyse complex data to provide accurate, up-to-date reports that fulfil statutory requirements.
* Set targets, monitor performance, and review potential system changes to ensure successful delivery of services and projects.
Job Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of development project management, including negotiating commercial terms and managing stakeholders.
* Ability to produce detailed reports and analyse complex data to inform decision-making.
* Experience with capital expenditure management and ensuring financial targets are achieved.
* Understanding of hybrid working environments, including home working, office, and site visits.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability to set performance targets and manage team performance effectively.
