A wonderful live out nanny role has become available in St Albans, Hertfordshire. You will be looking after two happy and active girls, aged six and three. The girls attend school and nursery each day.
This family is looking for a kind, proactive and friendly nanny who would like to have fun with the girls, along with providing lots of love and support.
During term time (34 weeks) the hours will be Tuesday-Thursday, 14.00-18.30 (13.5 hours/week). Before you collect the girls from school or nursery, you will have time to help keep them organised – helping with their laundry, keeping their rooms and playroom tidy, ensuring they have everything they need for the day ahead, helping oversee homework, etc. Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated, emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, etc. The family has a weekly cleaner.
In the school holidays, the hours will increase to Tuesday-Thursday 10.30-18.30 (24 hours/week) when you will have more time to spend with the children.
There is also the possibility of ad hoc babysitting. This will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating and educational indoor fun (board games, reading, jigsaws, craft, singing, imaginary games, baking, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park. In the school holidays, when there will be more time, the family is happy for the children to go on fun outings and to visit friends, so they can mix with other children, always keeping them safe and happy.
You will provide the children with healthy and nutritious meals (home cooked as often as possible). Involving the children, if this is something they enjoy.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence. There is a car available for use on duty.
If this role sounds like something you would enjoy and you would like to work alongside this warm and friendly family, please apply below.
