About the role As our Brand Guardian Manager, you’ll ensure the delivery of brand messages and application of our visual identity, across all communications, challenging agencies, and in-house teams to develop integrated and effective communications that showcase the BHF brand. You’ll act as a brand expert to teams across the charity, taking ownership and initiative ensuring brand alignment, providing stakeholders with expert brand consultancy and inspiring them to harness the power of our brand. Offering a deep understanding of the charity, the strategies and objectives, brand challenges, and project priorities, you’ll input into briefs, support creative development, and provide feedback to agencies and campaign leads. A key part of this role will be overseeing brand approval processes, our brand resources and embedding the brand strategy, visual identity, and tone of voice into the DNA of the charity. This position sits within the team responsible for producing sector-leading, highly effective, marketing campaigns and customer journeys, inspiring more people to engage with and support British Heart Foundation (BHF) and its lifesaving work. Working arrangements This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office. At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. About you A brand expert with significant experience working within a brand team for a large commercial or charity brand, you have a proven track record of taking brand and marketing strategy to deliver against commercial growth targets and KPls. You must have prior expertise leading brand approval negotiations for multiple projects ensuring consistent brand and tone of voice. Additionally, you will need to be a confident and engaging presenter who is able to share best practice and influence stakeholders at all levels. Self-motivated and solution-focussed, with strong hands-on experience of managing projects in a complex and challenging environment, proven ability to manage budgets, and experience of brand and direct response campaign management. A critical thinker, with a love of creativity and a good eye for detail, you bring experience producing and assessing branded communications, working with an in-house creative team, and managing creative agencies.
