The Network Management Service provides strategic management of the council's property, schools and highway assets to ensure that they meet the aims of the Corporate Strategy and support service delivery across the county.
Role & Responsibilities:
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join us in Lancashire as we develop and deliver our ambitious plan for the tree management across the county.
The Tree Management Team at Lancashire County Council is looking to hire a Tree Surveyor. The post involves lone working outside, recording details of trees and recommending remedial tree works.
Candidates must have experience of:
* Tree species
* Pest and disease identification
* Tree risk assessment
* Comfortable with using computerised mapping and inventory systems
Qualifications:
Candidates must have the minimum of a level 4 arboriculture qualification.
A council vehicle is provided as part of this post and therefore applicants must have a current and clean driving licence.
