About the role: As a Mechanical/Hydraulic Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building and stripping a variety of simple and complex mechanical hydraulic units, utilising your knowledge of hydraulic systems to conduct efficient inspections and fault-finding investigations. Although not essential, experience gained in aerospace is desirable. You will assemble, test and inspect various mechanical products and final unit instruments, using complex diagnostic tests and methodologies and high level technical build. You will also effectively interpret and utilize assembly and engineering drawings and specifications. About you: You'll be experienced in working at mechanical/Hydraulic components, using detailed engineering drawings and other technical records. You will be able to demonstrate understanding and application of the principles and theory of mechanics and hydraulics within the engineering/manufacturing function. An ability to work effectively unsupervised using own initiative and as part of a team is essential for this role.
