KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + DUTIES
* To assemble units following drawings and documentation.
* To maintain the high-quality standards that our customers expect and achieve productivity/cycle time expectations.
* Study and Interpret assembly Instructions.
* Liaise with supervision any issues arising during the shift with component shortages / Quality issues.
* To troubleshoot resolve assembly problems, through structured investigation methods, escalating to supervision where issues cannot be resolved.
* Notify the Section Leader to obtain any additional resources to achieve complete and on-time assembly.
* To keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
* Keep a clean and safe manageable working area at all times, complying with Company 5S processes and standards.
* Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow for efficient performance and assist in your personal development.
* Take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate.
* Any other duties as required, commensurate with the role of an Assembler.
* Complete quality control forms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION (S) / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
* Experience of Engineering background, producing bespoke products.
* Previous mechanical assembly experience essential.
* Time served in Engineering discipline would be advantageous.
* The ability to operate hand air and torque tools effectively.
