POSITION: Science Teacher – Physics Specialism
SCHOOL: GOOD Secondary School
LOCATION: Barnet
START DATE: September 2024
PAY: Outer London MPS 1 – 6 (£34,514 – £46,001)
Required for September 2024 – a well-qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a successful Science Department!
Applicants MUST be a qualified teacher and hold UK QTS!

Your responsibilities as a Science Teacher will be:
1. Teaching Physics to KS3, 4 and 5
2. Planning and preparing courses and lessons
3. Contributing to the work of the department by writing, reviewing and updating schemes of work
4. Updating end of unit tests and revision materials for units or topics
5. Following Health & Safety regulations within lessons
6. Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of students
Our criteria for selection:
7. 2:1 or 1st class Science Degree – with physics specialism
8. Qualification to teach Science at KS3, KS4 and A-level
9. Experience of teaching GCSE and A level Science
10. ECT or Experienced Teachers welcome to apply
11. Evidence of further study and CPD
12. An understanding of the current curriculum and science education
13. Able to follow the ethos and aims of the school
