Job summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Children's Nurse to join us as a Paediatric Continence Sister on a 37.5 hour per week basis. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse with experience of supporting junior members of the team & working closely with the management team. We need somebody who has excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills who can deliver evidence-based nursing care, in the community, to children across Trafford. The Paediatric Continence Service for Trafford is currently undergoing some exciting changes and your role will be to help the Team Leader in development of these changes & to support the current team. Main duties of the job To support the team leader in the management of the service including: working collaboratively with other services such as Bladder and Bowel and the CLDN, running clinics, visiting schools and homes across Trafford to provide flexible care for our patients. To act up in the absence of the team leader/caseload holder and be responsible for maintaining agreed policies and clinical standards in accordance with agreed criteria. Assist in the development of the wider team and development in designated area of practice in conjunction with the team leader.
