Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next role?
The company you will be working for is an established Main contractor with years of experience specialising in retail, commercial and logistics construction.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be office based in Burton on Trent as commercial lead for one of the businesses key retail clients managing a number of projects for the client at any given time.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting accurate cost estimates, budget management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely cost advice.
Analyzing contracts, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
Preparing detailed bills of quantities and tender documents.
Evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiating favorable terms.
Monitoring project progress and variations, ensuring alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our cost management processes.
