The Role The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a variety of civil engineering projects valued between £5 million and £10 million. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive project management experience, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders effectively, and comes with the following responsibilities: To Lead and manage project teams to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to the required quality standards. To be the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues that arise. Development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. To identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project delivery. To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitoring of project budgets, forecast financial performance, and implement cost control measures. To mentor and develop project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Provision of regular project updates and reports. Experience required A number of years of experience in project management within the civil engineering sector, with a proven track record of delivering projects in the £5m to £10m range, is essential.
