Smart TMS specialise in using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to treat a wide range of mental health conditions. Approved by NICE in 2015, this treatment for depression is safe, effective and non-invasive.
We are looking for a motivated TMS practitioner for our Edinburgh clinic to help us change the lives of patients with depression.
Using rTMS in the treatment of depression and other mental health conditions, the practitioner will administer TMS treatment and support patients throughout their treatment plan, monitoring progress with psychometric testing and conducting observational assessments.
Working with a multidisciplinary team, the TMS practitioner will maintain regular contact with the clinician, updating on the patient’s treatment.
Professional awareness is crucial to the success of the Edinburgh clinic. The TMS practitioner will also be required to work with the marketing team in promoting TMS to clinical professionals in the area, providing written material for the website and social media, and participating in webinars with psychiatrists.
This varied role allows the TMS practitioner to be fully involved in the success of the clinic. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and able to work independently to drive business development in Edinburgh.
