Groomfield Recruitment is looking for a Health and Safety Administrator for our client based in West Bromwich.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00
Pay: £11.50 Per Hour
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the health and safety department
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
3. Monitor and evaluate the quality of checks in place
4. Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
5. Prepare and submit reports on health and safety activities and outcomes
6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and integrate health and safety procedures
7. Provide leadership and guidance to health and safety
8. Book FLT training and courses
9. Organise first aid training
10. Organise fire marshal training
11. Maintain accident and near miss logs
12. Conduct fire alarm testing and rectifying
13. Liaise with management for escalation
Requirements:
1. First aid certificate
2. First aid qualification
3. NEBOSH Certification
4. Experience in a similar role
5. Proficient in delivering Health and Safety guidelines to all levels of employees
