HR Services
The HR team at A&O Shearman provides a first-class service to the business, offering strategic HR business advice at the business partner level and quality support services in the full range of HR functions through specialist teams such as learning & development, resourcing, reward, employee relations advice, payroll, systems and HR administration.
The Benefits and Pensions team are subject matter experts responsible for leading the HR strategy on employee benefits and pension. Primarily, the role will focus on providing support to the London and Belfast offices (but this may extend to the international offices) to drive forward A&O Shearman’s benefit and pension strategies.
What you will do
* Be responsible for the monthly benefit and pension administration processes, including accurate and timely processing of joiners and leavers.
* Process all invoices related to benefits and wellbeing services and allocate benefit costs to our departments.
* Maintain accurate benefit records on our HR system.
* Send letters to employees relating to benefits as needed.
* Update and maintain the benefits and pension intranet pages, ensuring all information and documentation is up to date.
* Support the team with annual insurance renewals as required.
* Help with the collation of travel patterns from international and UK offices.
* Create and maintain promotional benefit and pension materials e.g event invitations, flyers.
* Support with the coordination and delivery of ad hoc benefit and pension events and webinars.
* Provide administrative support following the annual partner promotion cycle relating to changes to their benefits.
* Conduct regular membership audits of benefits programmes to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
* Book internal resources for events.
* Support with the coordination of team diaries and meetings with external benefits suppliers as required.
* Minimal travel to London office may be required e.g to attend annual team days.
What you will have
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a high performing culture.
* Competency in all Microsoft Office packages.
* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Project management skills, including working to deadlines, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, effective prioritisation and using initiative and judgement.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
You’ll stand out if you bring
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
* Experience of a similar Benefits role.
