An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an RCVS accredited, small animal, first opinion practice in the beautiful Hertfordshire area. This role offers a fantastic mix of consultations and surgeries, with a varied first opinion caseload that ensures no two days are the same!
You'll have the chance to develop strong relationships with clients while delivering high-quality care, with routine appointments lasting 15 minutes and extended time for more complex cases. The practice is committed to providing exceptional customer service, and you'll have dedicated admin time to keep on top of your workload.
The practice is ideally looking for a vet confident with routine procedures and consultations, though they would be happy to consider a new graduate for the position. New graduates will have the added benefit of a 1:3 Saturday morning rota initially, with the opportunity to progress to a shared rota once fully confident in the role. This offers excellent mentorship, and you'll be supported by a skilled and highly motivated nursing team, who are encouraged to make the most of their nursing skills.
Based in a charming part of Hertfordshire, this practice has been serving its loyal clientele since 1999, creating a modern and proactive working environment. Along with RCVS accreditation, they proudly hold the IFSM's Silver Cat Friendly Status. You will be part of a close-knit team of 5 vets (4 FTE) and a fantastic nursing team, making this the perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop in a supportive and dynamic practice!
The Rota:
• Full time position
• 4 day week
• 1:5 Saturday mornings
• Open to part time applicants
