We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Health Instructor to join our dynamic Physical Therapies Health Instructor team.
Working within Secure Care and Offender Health with adults, children and adolescents at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust you will be working with an experienced and passionate Physical therapies team as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
Working under the supervision and guidance of Professional and Clinical Lead Health Instructors you will have the opportunity to work with service users with severe, complex mental health illnesses where there maybe comorbidities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, exceptional interpersonal skills and be adaptable in their approach in order to deliver a service that will contribute to improving service user experience. You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to your work, good time management and organisational skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative in a busy environment.
As a Physical Therapies Senior Health Instructor you will provide a variety of physiotherapeutic and physical activity and exercise interventions as well as health promotion advice and support to address health and wellbeing needs and support the service user in their journey through wellness and recovery.
