Logistics Company looking for a Document Coordinator to join their team.
Duties:
* To create files on the Google Drive to place the supporting documentation in.
* To ensure that the updated consignee sheets are placed in the Google Drive.
* To ensure that the files are received from the Ops team before vessel sailing.
* To ensure that shipping instructions are submitted as per the deadlines.
* To ensure that the PPECB, Phyto, Certificate of Origin, Cargo Dues, Eur 1, Form A are submitted within the required time frames.
* To ensure that the shippers, contact, instructions are updated on the system.
* To ensure that the complete documents are placed in the Google Drive.
* To ensure that all DMS tasks are completed accurately and timeously.
* To ensure that the milestones are met on DMS.
* To ensure that the relevant comments are made on DMS.
* To ensure any problems are flagged immediately with the relevant department.
* Ensure that the DMS dashboard remains clear.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Shipping, Clearing and Freight Forwarding, Distribution and Logistics Business Management or related field.
* A minimum of 2-years’ experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics experience (Preferably import related).
* Ability to work all hours and from home where needed.
* Ability to identify the needs in the team and assist where needed.
* To have working knowledge of Google / Excel / Inttra.
* To have the ability to read and interpret shipping documentation.
* Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
