Responsibilities:
* Provide1:1 and small group support to students with speech and languagedifficulties assisting them in developing communicationskills.
* Work closely with speech and languagetherapists SENCO and teachers to implement tailored learning plansand interventions.
* Help adapt classroomactivities and materials to meet the specific speech and languageneeds of students.
* Monitor and record studentprogress providing regular feedback to teachers the SENCO andparents.
* Support students in buildingconfidence in both verbal and nonverbalcommunication.
* Assist in the delivery of speechtherapy exercises and communication strategies under the guidanceofspecialists.
ExperienceandQualifications:
* Experienceworking with students with speech and language difficulties in aschool or educational setting.
* Knowledge ofspeech and language development and relevant SENstrategies.
* A patient nurturing approach withstrong interpersonal skills to support students communicationneeds.
* Ability to work effectively as part of ateam collaborating with teachers therapists andparents.
* Relevant qualifications in SEN supportspeech and language therapy or teaching assistance aredesirable.
* A DBS check isrequired.
