We are on the lookout for a Senior Support Worker for an incredible housing charity in the RCT / Pontypridd area.

What will you do?
The role of the Senior Support Worker is to lead a small team of support staff.
You will be involved in the day to day support of service users.
This is a women's service in the RCT area, focused on housing support.
The service is funded by the Wales Housing Support Grant (HSG).
You will carry a caseload of service users / clients.
Undertake safety planning (MARF, SEREF, MARAC).
Complete needs and risk assessments.
Involvement is staff supervisions, training and development.
Act as a deputy to the service manager.
What do we need?
Someone with excellent experience gain within the housing sector (charity, local authority etc.).
A great support worker with leadership skills.
Experience of supervising a small team in a social care or support setting.
A good understanding of Health and Safety and safeguarding processes.
Drivers licence with access to your own car.
Good knowledge of the services and organisations across the local area.
Able to manage a caseload while also supporting the team.
A DBS on the update service or able to complete a new enhanced DBS check.
