The opportunity –
Novaskill is excited to partner with a renowned and reputable business to offer a Construction Traineeship. This opportunity includes hands-on training and ongoing mentoring from a supportive team committed to helping you build a successful career in the construction industry.
You’ll be completing a nationally recognised Certificate II in Construction whilst gaining practical experience and developing industry connections.
This traineeship provides a strong foundation for those looking to start a career in construction, with the potential to progress into a Certificate III in Concreting.
Learning outcomes –
* Read and interpret plans
* Carry out measurements and calculations
* Use construction tools and equipment
* Carry out concrete in simple forms
* Work in accordance with Work Health and Safety requirements
Course outcomes –
* The ability to construct small woodwork items such as stepping stools or a carry-all toolbox
* Experience in placing and finishing concrete
* The confidence to use power tools
* A strong pathway to an apprenticeship
About you –
* Energetic, punctual, and reliable
* Enthusiastic about developing hands-on skills in construction
* Demonstrate commitment to completing your study
* Willing to learn about all aspects of the construction industry
* Driver’s license and reliable transport is preferable
* Ability to work within a team and independently when needed
