Flourish Education are seeking an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Good rated Primary School in Tipton, The school has an SEND provision where they support children with SEND across the Primary age range. Our client is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching assistant to support children within their specialised SEND provision, in this role the ideal candidate would be supporting children with Autism, ADHD, ASD and SEMH, and other needs like challenging behaviour. This role is a long-term, full-time position starting ASAP and is continuing for the full academic year. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role will include: Supporting children across the primary age range, including Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for children with SEND within the school’s dedicated provision. Helping students with Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour to thrive. Assisting teachers in implementing the National Curriculum in an inclusive learning environment. Promoting positive behaviour and emotional development among children with specific needs. Building trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families. Required Skills and Experience Experience working in a UK Primary School or similar educational setting. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. Strong understanding of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour. The ability to engage and inspire young learners in both group and individual settings. A proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of all students. Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you other excellent benefits, including: £85.02 to £98.41 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
