Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate leader, we are looking to appoint an Executive Chief Nurse to join the Board in a radically changing and evolving NHS landscape. Our Chief Nurse will have a key role in formulating the Trust's new long-term strategy with the current strategy 2020-2025 in its final year. The focus will be on delivering against the Chief Nurse portfolio in the context of being part of wave one of the Government's New Hospital Programme. The right candidate will contribute to the development of a renewed Trust Strategy reflecting the needs of a diverse population. Patient safety is a key part of the Chief Nurse role and you will work in collaboration with Executive Director colleagues to ensure that there is a just and learning culture, continuous improvement is a priority and that the creation of a psychologically safe working environment is of the upmost priority. You will lead on the delivery of the quality priorities set out in the Trust Quality and Safety Strategy and ensure delivery against key quality metrics.
