AMAU is a hub of activity, we provide the key to safe effective patient treatment and flow. We manage medical patients and receive all medical emergencies via ambulance within the locality. Our aim is to provide seamless, high quality care for patients using our service.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for motivated and dynamic Health Care Support Workers, who are able to work under pressure, to join our dedicated team of staff on the Acute medical assessment unit in Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.
The unit is made up of 24 beds and includes 3 resus beds where we are able to directly admit emergency patients from the unit requires Health Care Support Workers who are keen to learn and able to adopt a flexible approach to work. There is an opportunity to learn new skills and develop professionally within a positive and challenging environment. The unit operates a variety of shift patterns to suit service requirements including days/night rotation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
