This role includes a RRP, effective from October 1, 2024, subject to terms and conditions and annual review. Main duties of the job
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals, collaborating to deliver exceptional patient care. We value proactive and flexible individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, working across our various sites, including Kingston Hospital, Teddington Memorial Hospital, Raynes Park Health Centre, and Surbiton Health Centre. Our department offers a wide range of examinations, including abdominal, gynae, MSK, vascular, paediatric, small parts, and obstetrics, allowing you to expand your expertise and grow professionally. To be eligible for a Band 8a role, you must be an advanced clinical practitioner with more than three years of post-qualification independent scanning experience, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and clinical decision-making responsibility. Additionally, you should possess the ability to manage a complex caseload and perform a variety of scans with exceptional proficiency. Managerial or leadership experience is ideal for this role.

Education/Qualification
* Degree level qualification or equivalent
* Post graduate specialist diploma in medical ultrasound
* HCPC or other appropriate professional registration
Experience
* CPD/Audit/QA experience
* Ultrasound training or mentoring experience
* 3 years post-graduate experience

* Sound knowledge of clinical ultrasound
