Our client, a vibrant and supportive secondary academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated Science Early Career Teacher to join their dynamic Science department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to begin their career in a school that values innovation, high standards, and professional growth. You will be joining a well-resourced department committed to delivering engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire curiosity and support academic progress
Develop creative and engaging teaching strategies that cater to a range of learner needs
Assess, track, and monitor student progress to ensure all learners are making strong gains
Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and participate in enrichment opportunities
Engage in the school’s Early Career Teacher programme and work closely with mentors and colleagues to support your development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
QTS (or be on track to achieve QTS by September 2025)
A degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
A genuine passion for teaching Science and making a positive impact on young learners
Strong subject knowledge and a willingness to continually develop professionally
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
