Some common responsibilities of a service advisor include:
1. Greeting customers and assessing their vehicle's service needs.
2. Providing recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance.
3. Estimating costs for services and obtaining customer approval.
4. Scheduling service appointments and coordinating with the service department.
5. Keeping customers informed of the status of their vehicle and any delays.
6. Explaining the work performed and answering any questions or concerns.
7. Upselling additional services or products that may benefit the customer.
8. Handling customer complaints and ensuring their satisfaction.
9. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
10. Collaborating with the service team to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
