Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Administrative Support: Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
- Student and Parent Interaction: Handling inquiries from students and parents, providing information, and addressing concerns.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, visitor logs, and other essential documentation.
- Coordination: Assisting with the coordination of school events and meetings, including scheduling and logistics.
- Communication: Liaising with teachers, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication within the school.
- Supervise and monitor learners' behaviour and conduct both within and outside lessons as part of the school duty of care, pastoral and welfare support.
- Uphold the school's Safeguarding and Child Protection policies at all times.
- Uphold the school's aims, ethos and values including the Yardleys School Charter.
- Uphold the school's Equal Opportunities policy at all times.
- Perform any other duties commensurate with the role as required by the Headteacher.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with SIMS is vital for this role
- A good standard of education, including GCSEs in English and Maths
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities, and proficiency in using office software (Microsoft Office). A friendly and approachable demeanor is also important.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
