The Department of Psychology at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a part time (0.4 FTE) Project Coordintor, to the Paediatric Listening, Cognition and Neuroscience (PELiCAN) Lab. To contribute and assist in the management of the Impact of Children’s Auditory Technology (iCAT) research project, a UKRI funded project, with Dr Hannah Stewart. The project will be working to ensure primary-school aged children with mild-to-moderate hearing loss receive appropriate auditory technologies (e.g., hearing aids). The project works with multiple NHS audiology departments and industry partner, along with deaf children (6-12 years old) and their families.
YOU WILL
* Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
* Be able to produce accurate financial reports re project spending
* Be an efficient collaborator with e.g. research services officers, finance officers and researchers
* Have experience of database management
* Be competent coordinating both internal and external events
* Have a superb eye for detail for e.g. version tracking
* Support the department in their safeguarding of research participants

The Psychology Department is a busy teaching and research active Department. It is home to a friendly group of over 40 Academic staff, with teams of Research, Professional Services and Technical staff. The Department supports a large cohort of Undergraduate students; a thriving group of Masters and Postgraduate research students; and a wide range of research projects including several cross-institution grants.
