**Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) Role in Hemel Hempstead**
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide expert musculoskeletal care and contribute to innovative solutions for patient management.
This position offers a variety of responsibilities, including working autonomously in CATS/MSK clinics and managing complex MSK conditions. Experience in Rheumatology is essential for one of the positions, with qualifications in injection therapy and prescribing being highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Request and interpret diagnostics, such as imaging, to aid decision-making and perform steroid injections confidently and effectively.
* Ultrasound Services: Provide MSK Ultrasound services and inject under US guidance (qualification in MSK Ultrasound desirable).
* Clinical Assessments and Diagnosis: Undertake advanced clinical assessments and diagnoses for patients with complex MSK conditions.
* Independent Caseload Management: Manage independent caseloads in CATS/MSK clinics.
* Treatment Delivery: Deliver tailored, evidence-based treatment plans to optimise patient outcomes.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work autonomously within the scope of advanced clinical practice, while collaborating with GPs, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care pathways.
Essential Criteria:
* Rheumatology Experience: Prior experience in Rheumatology care, with injector and prescriber qualifications being beneficial.
* Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
* Qualifications and Registration: HCPC Registration and a recognised degree in Physiotherapy.
* Diagnostics and Injection Skills: Ability to request and interpret diagnostic tests and competence in performing steroid injections; MSK Ultrasound skills (with injection ability) are desirable.
* Postgraduate Qualification: Relevant postgraduate qualification in MSK or a related field (desirable).
* Clinical Experience: Experience working in CATS/MSK clinics with the ability to manage complex cases.
* Evidence-Based Practice: Extensive knowledge of evidence-based practice and current guidelines.
