Lean Facilitator - Macclesfield Our client, a large aerospace manufacturing organisation, providing engineered products for demanding operating environments, are looking for a Lean Facilitator to develop and deploy a sustainable Continuous Improvement culture across the site. The Lean Facilitator will identify areas for process improvements and develop a strategy to achieve tangible results by maximising efficiencies and quality, improved customer satisfaction, on - time delivery and minimise operating costs and waste. The Lean Facilitator will also be responsible for: - Developing process maps in all key areas of the business - Coaching and mentoring staff on the effective application of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies - Actively participating in the sharing of information and best practice across the group sites - Conducting an initial review of the Kaizen framework - Contributing to the development and generation of written manufacturing processes and procedures for new product introduction - Agreeing Performance Indicators and report monthly progress - Developing an effective Lean auditing system Skills and Experience required for the Lean Facilitator include: - Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline - Proven track record in the development and implementation of a Continuous Improvement programme utilising manufacturing tools, techniques and systems - 6 Sigma or equivalent - Project Management skills - Proven application of problem solving/root cause analysis techniques - Excellent communication skills - Strong leadership/influencing skills - Flexibility: willing to carry out a range of duties, working outside standard business hours and occasional travel within the UK
