First Operator
Technical /skilled operator within a department. Follows established processes providing day-to-day support necessary to ensure delivery of operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contribute to a healthy, inclusive and safe work environment and role model our character mindset.
2. Contribute to a LEAN & CI Culture through LCO teams.
3. Support quality and food safety within LCO area.
4. Automation and mechanics: Uses operator interfaces for machines and processing equipment. Acknowledges and addresses the causes of a problem. Assists in the production of functional descriptions.
5. Manufacturing processes: Runs the department's processes and fixes process failures. Draws relationship between process parameters and product characteristics.
6. Process technology: Applies knowledge of how process components are activated and affected by modulation. Interprets events using flowcharts and descriptions. Involved in risk analysis and suggests improvements on existing site.
7. CIP and cleaning: Puts basic cleaning principles into practice. Evaluates the washing and cleaning results. Participates actively in the development and optimization of the washing processes. Follows KPIs for the department. Minimizes, manages and reports losses.
8. Hygiene: Works to minimise exposure to risks. Applies knowledge of hygienic design.
9. Food safety: Ensure awareness and compliance to quality and food safety requirements within in own area of responsibility. Applies procedures and instructions regarding food safety (HACCP). Identifies causes of quality deficiencies and suggests improvements.
10. Product knowledge and packaging: Ensures what is pass/fail product, handling nonconforming product. Manages recipe of products, article numbers and additives used and their functions.
11. Work environment: Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment.
12. LEAN: Participate in Performance Board Meeting. Contribute to Continuous improvement.
