This is a truly exciting time to begin or continue your career with our first-class business, as a HR Advisor you will be responsible for supporting the Head of HR and the HR Business Partner to deliver a first class, cutting- edge generalist HR service, promoting best practice and company values for all people activities across EFS. Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work, applicants should note that security clearance is required for this role. To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities The successful candidate will also be expected to: To provide advice to managers on all aspects of employee relations including disciplinary, absence, grievance, and performance matters, escalating complex employee relation cases to the HR Business Partner Attend disciplinary and grievance meetings to act as company witness and note taker Monitor monthly sickness absence reports and support line managers with formal sickness absence review meetings in accordance with the company’s sickness absence policies and procedures Support the HR Business Partner with the management of long-term sickness cases including occupational health referrals and providing advice and guidance to line managers on reports. Provide coaching, support, and advice to managers to enable effectiveness in line management role and dealing with ER and HR matters Assist the Head of HR and the HR Business Partner in the delivery of key projects Advise employees and line managers on HR policy and procedures Assist in the development and review of the HR related policies and procedures Support the Head of HR and the HR Business Partner with restructuring and organisational design activity including the facilitation of consultation meetings Support the HR Business Partner with the collation of evidence for tribunal cases To work with managers in a collaborative way ensuring that legislation, policy, and best practice are applied fairly and consistently across the business. Support the HR Business Partner with note taking and preparing written outcome letters in disciplinary, grievance, flexible working and sickness absence cases Support the HR Operations Administrative team with monitoring the general HR inbox, responding to those requiring HR advice.
