Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire Salary: £25,798 - £26,331 per annum (base salary). With an earning potential of £29,515.12 - £30,048.12 (inclusive of on average 1 sleep in per week & your attendance allowance of £1,400 per annum). We are looking for a Residential Youth Support Worker to be part of the residential staff team for a brand-new 2 bed residential home in Mansfield. As a Residential Youth Support Worker in our children's homes, you will be a key part of a close-knit team committed to providing stability, guidance, and support for vulnerable young people. Your role will be to empower them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential in a trauma-informed setting. What You'll Do: Build positive, nurturing relationships with young people, helping them navigate complex emotions and behaviours. Assist with daily routines, medication administration, and ensure the well-being of each young person. Organize and participate in recreational activities that foster a supportive atmosphere and promote healing. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and the best outcomes for the young people you support. Experience and Dedication: Previous experience providing emotional and behavioural support is highly desirable, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential. Qualifications: A willingness to work towards or a current qualification in QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
