To do this we are creating a combined, multi-agency locality Family Help Service, with locality social workers supported Lead Child Protection Practitioner, you and as Senior Lead child protection practitioner. About the job: This role offers you the opportunity alongside a team of Lead Child Protection Practitioner’s to shape the future of child protection practice in Walsall. Your creative and innovative approach to working with families and our multiagency partners will be the catalyst to bring about change locally and nationally. This role will see you manage a team of LCPP’s, who are non-case holding experienced social workers. LCPP’s independently support child protection practice across our localities in Walsall, providing their expertise and knowledge to ensure cohesive multiagency response to support children and their families, within the wider multi-agency children protection team. This role will see you utilise your experience to create a team of dynamic parctioners who take the role of lead decision-maker for the outcome of child protection decisions in Strategy Meetings, Section 47 Enquiries and Child Protection Conferences. Ensuring multi-agency working is at the heart of each aspect of practice You will have the opportunity to re-write child protection practice, ensuring partnership and collaboration are at the heart of practice. About you: Are you an experienced Child Protection Conference chair, Team manager or practice supervisor?
