What we offer
We know that our Team is our greatest asset which is why we offer competitive rates of pay.
The definition of Prudent is “Acting with or showing care and thought for the future”. We believe it is our responsibility to not only act with care and thought for the future of our service users but also for that of our team members. We have a strong belief that by supporting you to be the best you can be, you will be able to support our service users to be everything they want to be. That is why we have in-house accredited trainers who deliver a full and supplementary suite of courses and offer a wide range of development plans and resources.
Training and Development
We provide full face-to-face training and induction prior to starting work with our service users at a rate of £11.44/hour. We will also support you to achieve your QCF Level 4 in Health and Social Care as well as support in mentoring and leadership skills, positive behaviour support, and career development.
Your working Day
We work 12-hour shifts, 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am. Every day is different just like our Young People.
You will support our young person to ensure that they have a filled and fun day each day. Ensure that our young person is attending college/school but also ensure that they are setting achievable goals that we can support our young person to reach.
For this role, previous experience of working with children and/or adults who present with behaviours that challenge is essential, as is previous experience of supporting people with Learning Disabilities.
As a Team Leader, you will be part of the daily/weekly checks and support the rest of the team to ensure we are doing the best job possible for our Young person.
You will be involved in ensuring that the young person's home is running well, medication ordered, menu plans, activity plans, maintenance issues reported, and supporting the young person to engage in the local community.
Paperwork is very important as a Team Leader, and your role will be to ensure that all the paperwork is to the highest standard that we expect as do CQC and OFSTED.
What is most important to us is your values:
Care: We care about and invest in you as a team member so that in turn you can provide high-quality care and support to our service users.
Achieve: We are looking for people who are passionate about helping our service users achieve the goals they have set for themselves.
Resilience: It is important that you work to positively encourage and build upon the emotional resilience of our service users to ensure they are prepared for independence.
Enjoy: The most important thing to us is that both team members and service users enjoy their time with us and the benefits our support can offer.
