About the role:
This role is key to supporting the team to achieve a wide range of objectives that will support the organisation and staff to grow and develop. The work is varied so you will never get bored. You will get involved in a range of projects, e.g., to use technology and information to improve services, as well as providing administrative and operational support, including supporting our Learning Management System, helping staff with their learning enquiries, paying invoices, and supporting apprenticeships within the organisation.
About you:
This role offers a great level of variety, where no one day is the same. This means that it is essential that you can demonstrate where you have:
* Worked accurately to competing deadlines across a range of activities
* Experience of supporting the delivery of a range of Learning and Development activities
* Scheduled and prioritised your own workload and adapted to changing circumstances
* Worked flexibly as part of a team and wider service
This role also enables you to make a positive difference to the work of the team and to the organisation, so we are looking for someone who has:
* Great communication skills
* Experience using technology to improve services
Experience of apprenticeship and graduate schemes would be desirable.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive HR and Organisational Development (OD) Shared Service that focuses on our customers’ needs across Kingston Council and our traded services. We are building a strategically focused OD service that is responsive to our internal customer needs and enables them to provide the services needed for the communities we work with.
OWD is a small, friendly and supportive team. It benefits from having a close working relationship with OD staff who have a Sutton Council focus.
