We are looking for a confident Shift Engineer to join the Engineering team at our client's busy Distribution Centre on the outskirts of Mansfield.
You will be working with the dedicated Automation Team to maintain a wide range of equipment, including storage retrieval systems, shuttles, totes, conveyors, and cross belt and shoe sortation equipment. You will work to a planned schedule and respond to breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime.
This is a highly automated site that continues to expand, and for ambitious engineers looking to progress their career, the client is always keen to promote from within.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Shift Automation Engineer
1. NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 Multi Skilled Engineer
2. A solid understanding of PLCs
3. Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience
4. Computer literate
5. Ability to read technical drawings
6. Work proactively managing time effectively
7. Ability to work independently
8. Confidently work at height
Salary and Benefits of a Shift Automation Engineer
1. Salary: £47,500 + Bonus
2. Shift: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights
3. 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am
