We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Administration to join our clients, an ever-growing independent mortgage practice in Norwich. This pivotal role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in mortgage administration, coupled with proven experience as a supervisor or team leader. As the Head of Administration, you will oversee and enhance their administrative operations, and manage a team of administrators ensuring the seamless support of our mortgage advisors and the delivery of exceptional service to our clients. The successful Head of Administration will be offered: £28,000 - £30,000 Basic (Depending on Experience) Monday to Friday 9 am – 6 pm 20 days Bank holidays (Your Birthday off if it falls on a working day) On-site Parking Head of Administration Requirements: Previous Mortgage Administration experience is desirable. Previous experience managing/supervising a team. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word and outlook). Excellent organizational skills. Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail. Strong written and oral communication skills Head of Administration Responsibilities: Manage a team of administrators. Assist the team with telephone calls to mortgage lenders, solicitors, insurance providers and GP’sto obtain the latest case updates and report these back to the corresponding mortgage advisors. Keeping internal records updated-Handle queries from Mortgage Advisors / Estate agents and Managing Directors. Additional duties in busier periods, including producing marketing materials to send externally toreferrers. Assisting with keying mortgages up until submission of the application. Allocating referrals to Mortgage Advisors and liaising with Estate Agents. Providing weekly and monthly updates to Estate agents. Assisting the Managing Directors with ad-hoc duties when required
