Why This Role Matters Christie’s is seeking a Social Media Manager, EMEA, to join our in-house Creative Studio. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced social media leader with a passion for luxury and art to further their career at a prestigious global auction house. As Social Media Manager, you will have direct access to some of the world's most exclusive and iconic works of art, and your role will be to bring these masterpieces to life across Christie’s EMEA social media platforms. As Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in advancing Christie’s social media strategy and shaping the future of the EMEA social presence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our in-house team of specialists to craft narratives around Christie’s extraordinary art and object offerings and elevate our presence within the luxury and auction house markets. How You'll Make an Impact Oversee the EMEA social media strategy, in alignment with Christie’s overall global social media strategy Developing and executing compelling storytelling across all social channels Collaborating closely with a dynamic team of copywriters, designers, videographers, and photographers within the Creative Studio Create visually compelling, on-brand content to amplify brand awareness and highlight key sales Spearhead innovative social media marketing campaigns while working closely with the Head of Content, EMEA and the Global Director, Social Media Strategy & Content Ensure that the EMEA strategy aligns seamlessly with Christie’s global vision and drive brand visibility, expanding Christie’s audience reach and increasing engagement What you’ll bring to the team Minimum 5 years in Social Media Management, preferably across different time zones and/or countries Demonstrated success in stakeholder management Proven ability to manage campaigns independently, optimise performance and achieve measurable results Able to proactively plan, communicate and navigate workflow challenges Exceptional analytical skills Publishing/writing background Able to craft detailed briefs for the in-house Creative Studio Experience leading a team of social media managers, including mentoring junior members of the team Experienced storyteller and a strategic mindset Experience working with in-house agencies Data-driven, but also able to craft visually engaging content Ready to make an impact in a dynamic environment Able to analyse content performance and refine strategies for growth, as well as present statistics in a clear manner Strong understanding of social media tracking tools and reporting systems Strong understanding of Dash Hudson or similar third-party analytic reporting platform Strong understanding of Project Management software such as Monday.com or Asana Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint Demonstrable experience designing and delivering social media strategy to build brand awareness Previous experience in managing and implementing evidence-based social media strategy – from major campaigns to smaller tactical outreach Creativity and innovation – an entrepreneurial approach and demonstrated examples of innovative social media campaigns Understanding of creating content with brand safety, tone of voice and regional/global sensitivities in mind Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and other social media platforms Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics and how they relate to social media organic content Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a high volume, fast paced environment Ability to collaborate with the wider global social media team and implement social media best practice strategies and content at the direction of the Global Director, Social Media Strategy & Content A natural collaborator able to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field What’s great about working for us 25 days annual leave 1 day Birthday leave Christie’s Christmas office closure (guaranteed between 25th Dec – 2nd Jan) – in addition to annual leave: almost two weeks to fully switch off and spend time with friends and family Additional 1 week’s annual leave within the year of a 5-year anniversary i.e. 5th, 10th, 15th and so on Volunteering day: Take an additional day of annual leave to volunteer for a charitable organisation that’s important to you Donation matching of up to £500 per annum to help you support the organisations you care about Flexible Fitness Fund -
