What you will do as a Material Requirements Planner:
You will be responsible for helping to define manufacturing requirements and manage the process of Running MRP and producing the Master Production Schedule for part of our Integrated Sensing and Protection business.
Responsibilities include:
* Load Manufacturing demands into the company's SAP system to create the master production schedule for a range of products.
* Ensure materials are allocated correctly and efficiently to projects.
* Review and amend master planning data as required.
* Work with the wider business stakeholders to ensure production schedules are based upon material lead times and manufacturing capacity.
* Maintain the production schedule such that it is a true reflection of the likely manufacturing outcomes.
* Liaising with external suppliers and customers as required.
* Manage inventory.
* SAP system issue resolution.
What we are looking for:
* Strong organisational, communication and analytical skills are essential for this role.
* Proficiency in planning, organising and overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to efficiently convey plans, updates and expectations to cross-functional teams.
* Ability to analyse data and performance metrics to make informed decisions, identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Capacity to identify issues, develop solutions and facilitate decisions that support project goals.
* Ability to provide guidance to multi-functional teams that drive success.
* Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Flexibility to adjust plans in response to changing circumstances, unexpected developments and evolving priorities.
* Thoroughness in reviewing project plans, documentation and reports to ensure accuracy and quality of data.
* Experience in using SAP to plan production requirements.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, resolve conflicts and maintain a positive team dynamic.
* Confidence in making decisions based on data, analysis and a thorough understanding of project requirements.
