BMW UK, Financial Services, Farnborough – IT Infrastructure - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
Our IT Infrastructure department are responsible for the onsite infrastructure, covering the network, servers, telephony and all end devices (PCs, Printers, MFDs etc.). Throughout your placement you will be responsible for support, assistance and some end user training for our internal customers. You will have the opportunity to be involved in many exciting projects throughout the year. You will also participate in all areas of IT Infrastructure, as a learning experience.

5. To be an active member of the UK Workspace and Infrastructure teams.
6. Working with and supporting all members of the team.
7. Provide support and assistance to our internal customers.
8. Responsible for the IT Intranet pages / Confluence pages.
9. Gaining knowledge in all areas of IT Infrastructure (Networking, Communications and Workplace (End Devices).
10. Support and assistance across the EMEA Markets where we provide support and guidance to our Market Contacts.
Qualifications and Experience
11. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
12. Studying a degree in Computer Science, IT or related course and on track to achieve a 2:2.
13. Experience in working in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams.
14. Have excellent verbal communication, presentation and report writing skills.
15. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
16. Comfortable with end user communication.
17. An out-going and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
18. Very good customer facing skills.
