Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the department of Child Health at Chesterfield Royal Hospital as a substantive Consultant Paediatrician. We are known for our high quality patient centred care, excellent team working, resilience and our collaboration with other colleagues across the network. The appointee will provide services in Acute Paediatrics, level 2 Neonates and we will aim to support interest in Paediatric sub-specialties. Experience in Community Paediatrics to support our community team would be welcomed to help with our service needs. The department is part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire, and the Expert Advisory Forum, to aim for uniform and standardised services across the borders and to have a multidisciplinary workforce model. The role is likely to require participation in the General Paediatric and Neonatal on-call rota on a 1:10 basis and we would like the successful candidate to explore the possibility of joining the well supported 1:5 SUDI rota.
