Late Shift - Monday to Thursday (2pm-10:15pm) and Friday (12pm-6pm)
My client supplies £0.5bn worth of technology solutions, products, and services all year round to their clients within a range of market sectors which include electrification, robotics, automation, and motion. They are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
Key Responsibilities – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
1. Defining maintenance plans for new/existing production lines and facilities, consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and facilities.
2. Fault finding and solving technical issues on equipment across the plant to achieve maximum performance from the production lines.
3. Propose and implement improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at optimizing machine operation and usability with a particular focus on energy efficiency.
4. Completing/implementing TPM, PPM, and routine maintenance schedules for machines across the site.
5. Responding to time-critical breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems thus minimizing disruption to the production process.
Qualifications & Experience – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
1. Time served/Qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
2. Extensive knowledge of maintenance activities with the use of CMMS systems.
3. Experience in data analysis through such systems to focus activities for greater results.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
5. Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings to support manufacturing and machine improvements; experience in design software such as AutoCAD would be beneficial but not essential.
6. Manufacturing background with ideal experience being within conduit production machinery including CNC.
7. Machining experience in a maintenance setting using tooling such as lathes, milling, grinding, drilling, welding, etc.
8. Strong understanding of conduit system products.
