Client Details Our client are seeking an Assistant Technical Manager to ensure food safety, compliance, and quality across the business. This role involves managing Quality Management Systems (QMS), specifications, labelling, customer complaints, and manage supplier/customer relationships. Description Oversee and maintain QMS compliance and food safety standards. Manage product specifications, labelling, and regulatory adherence. Handle customer complaints and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure supplier and customer compliance, working closely with key stakeholders. Lead and mentor a team of three direct reports Conduct internal audits Ability to travel once a month to other sites Profile Degree in Food Science/Technology or related field preferred but not essential 3 years' experience in food manufacturing technical/QA roles. HACCP Level 3, Food Safety Level 3 Lead auditor preferred Strong knowledge of food safety standards (BRCGS, SALSA, HACCP). Experience in QMS, audits, supplier approvals, and compliance management.
