If so, Dstl is recruiting for a new position to become a key member of the Chief Delivery Officers Senior Leadership Team as the Head of Mission Partner Engagement (Hd MPE). You will develop and implement the Strategic approach to Demand Management establishing the MPE as the recognised customer and partner-facing unit. Driving the development of intelligent customer conversations and advice you will ensure Defence and Security challenges are well articulated and the most effective response across the entire portfolio is addressed. You will bring your effective stakeholder and customer relationship skills to develop and manage strategic relationships, account plans and communications, ensuring a One Dstl and One Defence approach. Job description What youll do: Establish the MPE as the recognised customer facing unit in Dstl through the development and exploitation of internal and external networks and relationships across Defence and Security. Lead and manage a team of civil service and military personnel where you will foster an inclusive working environment and ensure all team members meet their accountabilities. Person specification To succeed youll have: Extensive stakeholder and customer relationship management experience, with strong relationships in Defence and Security at 2 level and below. Direct experience of developing strategies that influence leadership decisions. Effective communication skills with an Inspirational leadership style and the strong people management skills necessary to ensure the MPE is the recognised point of entry to Dstl. Things you need to know Selection process details This vacancy is using Success Profiles (opens in a new window), and will assess your Behaviours and Experience. Sifting will take place on Thursday 6th February, the panel will be assessing extensive stakeholder/customer relationship experience within Defence and Security, developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at enterprise level and leadership experience from your submitted CV, Personal Statement and Leadership Behavioural Statement. Candidates who are invited to interview will be required to complete a leadership assessment (expected to take place on/or 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st February) involving psychometrics and a leadership behaviours interview with an external partner. Interviews will take place on 5th March and will assess your technical skills relevant to the essential criteria and behaviours that have been outlined in the candidate pack. Feedback will only be provided if you attend an interview or assessment. Security Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check.
