We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a Graduate Applications Engineer who will play a vital role in supporting the operation and use of cutting-edge technical test and measurement equipment in the Electrical Power Sector. As a Graduate Applications Engineer, you will be part of the UK Power Sales & Technical Support Group (TSG), assisting customers in understanding and utilizing our advanced electrical testing products. You'll work closely with our sales and technical teams, providing support both pre- and post-sales, and acting as a crucial link between our customers and product development teams. Products and applications include cable fault location methods for underground HV cable, overhead line monitoring with remote communication and software integration, transformer diagnosis using dielectric frequency response, partial discharge measurement techniques on a wide variety of HV equipment, surge testing and dynamic analysis for motors and generators, software systems for asset management, high voltage circuit breaker analysis and software result documentation plus integration with asset performance analysis. Key responsibilities: Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, social media, and web chat. Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and customer training sessions. Assist in creating technical content such as application notes, videos, and webinars. Collaborate with the sales team to select appropriate products for customers and interpret test results. Support internal teams by maintaining demo stock, preparing reports, and contributing to department success. Experience, Skills & Qualifications: A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering. A strong desire for engineering excellence and a keen interest in electrical power systems. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
