Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic local primary schools. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
2. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
3. Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
4. Support students with special educational needs.
5. Prepare classroom materials and resources.
6. Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
7. Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
About you:
1. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
4. A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
5. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
6. Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable.

Hours - 8:30am-3:15pm (hours may vary)
Essential & Desirable Qualifications/requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
2. Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
1. Hold right to work in the UK.
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
3. Provide references upon request.
4. Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this).
