An opportunity has arisen within our Solihull Older Adult Community Mental Health Team and we are recruiting a Band 7 Team Manager. It's an exciting time to join the older adult division, with service changes and a dynamic and compassionate leadership team. We are looking for someone with a passion for older adults and improving the services that we provide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management, leadership, planning, and delivery of clinical services across the team. The individual will also be an active member of the management team, contributing to the shaping of our strategic and business plans within these services and inputting to the Trust's overall direction of travel.
The Team Manager is responsible for the management, development, and implementation of standards across a community-based multi-disciplinary team within a defined catchment area, ensuring that care coordination is appropriately undertaken and professional advice and caseload supervision is given to team members. This role ensures optimum standards of patient care via the effective and efficient management of human, financial, and physical resources, in line with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, resource controls, constraints, and regulatory body standards.
The post-holder will be highly visible, spending considerable time in the team base working alongside team members, as well as being a senior leader in the development of place-based and locality working. Working with the Clinical Services Manager and the Clinical Development Lead, the post-holder will ensure there is a strong focus on the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient services while working alongside other professional leads and stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.
Internal secondments will be considered subject to manager's approval.
