Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, covering topics such as coding, algorithms, and software development. Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all students, ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support for improvement. Foster a deep understanding of computational thinking and problem-solving through hands-on learning. Contribute to the development of the department’s curriculum, ensuring it reflects the latest trends and industry standards. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school procedures, encouraging a productive learning atmosphere. Participate in extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs, technology competitions, and workshops. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A deep passion for Computer Science, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities. Strong knowledge of key computer science concepts, including programming languages, algorithms, and system design. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
