1. Review follow up patients in the community Epilepsy service. 2. Communicate care needs with patient and the referring clinician. 3. Liaise with secondary care teams as needed. 4. Participate in regular team meetings with the GPs with extended role in Epilepsy and secondary care consultant. 5. Actively participate in peer support network with other Epilepsy nurse specialists. 6. Deliver Epilepsy awareness and rescue medication training. 7. Sign posting patients, families & clinicians where appropriate. 8. Provide written management protocols for patients and their carers. 9. Offer high quality evidence based care to patients with Epilepsy. 10. Enable MDT approach to care of patients with Epilepsy. 11. Facilitate an efficient & accessible service for Epilepsy patients.
