Overview
The Business Development Executive plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our organisation. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategies to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of our industry.
Duties
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition.
4. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
5. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and promote our services.
6. Prepare reports on business development activities, including progress towards targets and insights gained from client interactions.
Skills
1. Highly motivated and capable of working independently to manage leads, clients, and sales processes.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
3. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.

8. Familiarity with the Plymouth area and its business landscape is a plus.
Qualifications
1. Proficiency in CRM software, with a focus on Salesforce.
2. Strong sales and negotiation skills.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making.
5. Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
6. Previous experience working with Salesforce is a plus.
